2019 Metro Denver & Colorado July 4th Fireworks Shows


Perry & Co. Realtors have compiled this list of where you can see Colorado July 4th 2019 Fireworks Displays, including virtually every city in the state (over 120 displays to watch).

Alamosa: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks at the Alamosa Fairgrounds at dusk.

Arvada: July 4, 4:00 pm-10:00 pm,  Stenger/Lutz Complex – W 58th Ave & Oak St. Arvada, CO. Various activities, events for children, food, live music, and more. Fireworks at 9:30 pm. KOOL105 to simulcast a music medley choreographed for the fireworks display.

Aspen: July 4, 5:00-10:00 pm: No fireworks this summer due to concerns about wildfires. But there block party will commence at 5pm with food, beer garden and live music culminating with the drones lighting up the sky choreographed to Patriotic music at Wagner Park at 9:15pm.

Aurora: July 4, 9:30 pm, Aurora Municipal Center – 15151 E. Alameda Pkwy. Aurora, CO 80012. Live music starting at 6:00 pm. Fireworks display on Great lawn (west side of Aurora Municipal Center) with patriotic music simulcast provided by KEZW radio AM 1430. Food and beverage booths.

Avon: July 3rd, 9pm Enjoy live music from 5:45 – 9:15 p.m in Harry A. Nottingham Park followed by the fireworks display. No mention of Fireworks. See Fairplay.

Beaver Creek: July 4, 5:00-10:00 pm, Live music and kid’s activities starting at 12:00 pm at Centennial Park. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Bennett & Byers: See Aurora.

Black Hawk: July 4, 9:30 pm, Fireworks start at 9:30 pm.

Boulder: July 4, 8:00 pm, Folsom Field Gates open at 8:00 pm and the Fireworks start at 9:35 pm. Come early and enjoy Ralphie, School of Rock, Card Catalog, and more. Presented by WK Real Estate.

Breckenridge July 4, 9:45 pm, Breck’s Independence Day celebration kicks off with a 10K trail run and continues throughout the day with the Firecracker 50 bike race leading the vibrant Fourth of July Parade on historic Main Street, July Arts Festival, live music, kids’ activities, concerts and so much more. End the night with the National Repertory Orchestra performing a patriotic concert at the Riverwalk Center. (No fireworks are mentioned).

Brighton: July 4, 5-10:00 pm, Carmichael Park, 500 S. 4th Ave. Brighton, CO. Live music starting at 5:00 pm. Fireworks around 9:45 pm

Broomfield: July 4, 5-10:00 pm, Contact: 303-464-5509 Broomfield County Commons Park 13200 Sheridan Blvd. Broomfield, CO 80020. Various family activities; free concerts by “Spinphony” at 6:00 pm and “Soul X” at 7:15. Fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Brush: July 4, 9:30 pm, Fireworks at 9:30 pm at the Morgan County Fairgrounds.

Buena Vista: July 4, 11:00am-10:00 pm, Lots of activities through the day. Fireworks at 9:00 pm at the Rodeo Grounds.

Byers: See Aurora.

Cañon City: July 4, 3-10:00 pm, Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. Live music at 6:00 pm. No mention of Fireworks.

Carbondale: July 4, The celebration begins at 10:30am with a kids’ parade down Main Street that ends in Sopris Park. Community Pool Party at the John M. Fleet Swimming Pool. Free ice cream and watermelon after the parade. Games, food, live music, and more! No mention of fireworks.

Castle Rock July 4, 9:30 pm, Fireworks will blast off this year from the Santa Fe Quarry Butte above Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course at sundown. The show will be able to be seen from almost anywhere in Town. Some of the closer places to see the fireworks include Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course, the Ridgeline Open Space parking lot, or Bison Park.

Centennial: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks from Valley Country Club.

Colorado Springs: July 4 5:30 pm,  Evening will include food, drink, and fun for the whole family. Colorado Springs Philharmonic at 7:30 concluding with thunderous fireworks over Memorial Park at 9:00.

Colorado Springs – Broadmoor: July 4 9pm Fireworks for hotel guests on July 4th.

Colorado Springs – Northwest: various days After the Rocky Mountain Vibes minor league baseball games at UCHealth Park on June 21st, 28th, 29th and July 12th.

Commerce City: July 4, 7:30 pm-10:00 pm, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park 6000 Victory Way Commerce City, CO 80022. Fireworks will follow the home Rapids vs Seattle Sounders soccer game on Tuesday, July 4. No mention of Fireworks. See Fairplay.

Copper Mountain: July 4, 9:00 pm, This year, 4th of July celebrations in Frisco will end with a concert at the Frisco Bay Marina from 5:30pm-7:30 pm. No Fireworks display this year.

Craig: July 4, 9:00 pm Fireworks at dusk over Moffat County High School.

Creede: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks at dark-thirty from the west side of the hill above the town.

Crested Butte: July 4, 4-9:30 pm, Music at 7:30 at the Base Area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Fireworks at 9:30.

Cripple Creek: July 4, 9:30 pm, Starting at noon, live bands will be providing your favorite hits till 4:00 pm. From 6:00 pm till 10:00 pm, another great live band will play you into the evening with fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Dacono – Colorado National Speedway: July 1st & 2nd, 6:30-10:00 pm, Racing and fireworks on both July 1st & 2nd.

Deckers: No mention of Fireworks. See Woodland Park

Delta: July 4 Fireworks over Confluence Park

Denver – Civic Center Park/Downtown: July 3, Join us for Independence Eve 2018 presented by Anadarko, the ninth-annual free community celebration featuring a concert, light show and fireworks finale on Tuesday, July 3rd, in Downtown Denver’s Civic Center Park (Colfax & Broadway) beginning at 8:00 p.m.  The concert will feature Chris Daniels and The Kings and the Colorado Symphony.

Denver – Coors Field: July 3, 6:10 pm-10:00 pm, Coors Field Neighborhood Lodo 2001 Blake St Denver, CO 80205. Fireworks after the Rockies vs Astros game.

Denver – Denver Country Club: July 4, 9:30 pm, The DCC usually opens its East Gate across from The District Shops on University Avenue about 8:30 pm to allow friends to watch the fireworks show from a fairway. If not, the best place to watch is north of the Country Club along 1st Ave.

Denver – Cranmer Park: July 2nd, Community picnic and fireworks at Cranmer Park from 6-10pm. Located at 3rd Ave & Clermont St.

Denver – Elitch Gardens: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks at 9:00 pm.

Denver – Mile High Stadium July 4, Fireworks following the Denver Outlaws vs Chesapeake Bayhawks lacrosse  game at 7 p.m. Tickets $15

Dillon: July 4, 7:00 – 9:00 pm,  Annual fireworks show was canceled this year.

Durango: July 4, 9:15 pm, At 5 pm, come to Main Avenue for the Stars and Stripes Parade. The parade will start at College Drive and will end at 13th Street. Immediately after the parade, there is a free street dance with live music! No fireworks mentioned this year.

Eagle: July 4, 9:00 pm, The fireworks show will take place in Gypsum at 9:00 pm. No mention of fireworks.

Empire: July 4, 9:00 pm, See Idaho Springs & Georgetown. Fireworks have been canceled.

Englewood: July 4th 3:00 pm-10:00 pm, Belleview Park (near the corner of Windermere and Belleview) 5001 S. Inca Dr., CO 80110 Field games, activities, and live entertainment from 3 – 9:00 pm. The grand finale is Fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Erie: July 1, 9:30 pm, Fireworks on Wednesday, July 3rd.

Estes Park: July 4, 9:30 pm, Bring your blanket or lawn chair and find a spot along Lake Estes. Fireworks at 9:30.

Evergreen: July 4th 10:00am-7:30 pm, Evergreen Music Festival featuring the Hazel Miller Band. No mention of Fireworks. See Idaho Springs

Fairplay: July 4th 9:00 pm, Front Street. Including fireworks, Burro Buster 5k race, Strut Your Mutt Parade, Community Flea Market, Food, Free Concert with the Twenty Hands High Band, and Kids Activities. Events are on Front Street

Falcon: No mention of fireworks.

Firestone: July 4th 10:00am-10:00 pm, Miners Park, 226 Grant Ave. Live music through the day starting at 11:00 am. Fireworks at 9:30 pm at Saddleback Golf Club

Florence: July 4th, 9:00pm The fun Wet-n-Dry Parade will delight children and adults alike. Shoot water guns at the parade floats and enjoy the music, vendors and free family activities and fireworks.

Fort Carson: July 1st, 9:30 pm, Freedom Fest Days – June 28-June 30.

Fort Collins: July 4, 8:00 am – 10:00 pm, Live music, a beer garden and good ole American fun in the Town Square. Live music starting at 4:00 pm will be located on the South Side of the Hill at City Park at the corner of Sheldon and Mulberry. Fireworks shot over City Park Sheldon Lake at 9:35 pm.

Fort Lupton: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks at Dusk at Rec Center Grounds. Live music at 7:30 pm

Fort Morgan: July 5, 9:00 pm, Fireworks at I-76 Speedway on July 5th after IMCA race activities

Fraser: See Grand Lake

Frisco: July 4, 9:30 pm, No fireworks display this year.

Fruita: July 3rd, 9:00 pm, Fireworks on July 3rd at dusk from Snooks Bottom Open Space.

Georgetown: July 4, 9:00 pm, 8:00 am with the parade at 11:00 am, and a picnic in the town park at noon. The parade will take place on 6th Street with music at the main stage to follow.  No fireworks this year.

Glendale: July 2nd, 9:00 pm, The fireworks will be fired from Creekside Park at dusk on Tuesday, July 2nd, but are visible at various viewing locations throughout the City. The best viewing is at Cherry and Exposition. Additionally, Four Mile Historic Park coincides their Independence Day Celebration July 2nd from 5:30-10:30. Family fun for everyone including live music and games, food trucks and libations.

Glenwood Springs: July 4, 9:00 pm, The evening will be capped off by a one-of-a-kind laser performance above the softball field starting around 9:15 PM.

Golden July 4, 12:00pm-10:00 pm, Lions Park on 10th Street. Golden, CO 80401 Activities starting at noon include free rides, face painting, music provided by several bands, and a large fireworks display in the evening.

Grand Junction: July 4, 9:45 pm,  Fireworks listed at the GJ Rockies game after the game. (See Fruita).

Granby: July 4, 9:00pm Fireworks at the Flying Heals Arena after the Granby Rodeo and Westernaires equestrian drillteam exhibition. Also see Grand Lake below.

Grand Lake, Fraser, Winter Park: July 4th 10:00 pm Fireworks over Grand Lake at about 10:00 pm.

Greeley: July 4, 9:45 pm, The Fireworks display will be featured over the northwest corner of Island Grove Park.

Greenwood Village: July 4th No fireworks scheduled.

Green Valley Ranch: July 4, 9:30 pm, FREE Live Music from headliner “Dotsero” and opening act “Dr. Kool and the Disco Divas”, Food and Drinks, Kids Zone and Fireworks Finale at 9:30 pm

Gunnison: July 3, & 4th 5:00-10:30 pm, with fireworks at 10:00 pm. On July 4th, enjoy the Rob Garrett and Neil Diamond Tribute concert at Gunnison City Park.

Gypsum: July 4, 7:00 pm, Lundgren Theatre Live music from Under A Blood Red Sky: Tribute to U2 along with free hot dogs and ice cream. Then when it gets dark, look up and enjoy a firework show synchronized to music!

Highlands Ranch: July 4, 4:00 pm-10:00 pm,  The celebration will start at 4:00 p.m. at Highland Heritage Regional Park concluding with the fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. Join us for balloon twisters, face painters, games & inflatables, live music and of course fireworks!

Holyoke: July 4, 9:00 pm,  Fireworks at City Park

Idaho Springs: July 4, Idaho Springs will be hosting an afternoon complete with live music and dancing in downtown at Citizens Park. Fireworks have been canceled.

Indian Hills July 4, 7:00 am-1:00 pm, Events begin with a pancake breakfast, followed by an Air Life helicopter fly-in and display, a traditional parade, food vendors including a beer garden, and live musical entertainment. However, there won’t be fireworks.

Julesburg: July 4, 9:00 pm, Julesburg Volunteer Fire Dept Best view of fireworks is from town.

Keystone: July 3, 9:30 pm, No fireworks are mentioned.

Kremmling: See Grand Lake

Lafayette: July 4, 4:00-10:00 pm, Fireworks at Dusk at Waneka Lake Park, 1600 Caria Dr.

La Junta: July 4, 8:30-9:30 pm, Fireworks at dark at the La Junta Rodeo Grounds.

Lake City: July 4, 7am-10pm, This long-standing tradition of family entertainment includes a parade, races in Town Park for all ages, delicious food and drinks in the park, a book sale at the library, live music and street dance and an incredible fireworks show at 9:00pm.

Lakewood: July 4, 5:30 – 10:00 pm, The Annual Fourth of July Event brings together friends and families from four areas – Englewood, Littleton, Sheridan, and the South Suburban Recreation District.  Celebrate our National Holiday with friends and family at Cornerstone Park starting at 3:00 PM. Park and activities will continue after the fireworks.

Larkspur: July 4, 9:00 pm, The Denver Concert Band will be performing on the front of the green and the Perry Park Country club. Fireworks to be held at the Perry Park Country Club at approximately 9:00 pm.

Leadville: July 4, 9:00 pm, North America’s highest-elevation town marks July 4th with a Firecracker 5k Run, a rousing parade, and a relaxing afternoon in the Colorado Rockies. No Fireworks are mentioned this year.

Littleton – Belleview Park: July 4, 3:00 pm-10:00 pm, Belleview Park & Cornerstone Park (near the corner of Windermere and Belleview) 5001 S. Inca Dr., CO 80110 Field games, activities, and live entertainment from 3 – 9 pm. The grand finale is Fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Littleton – Hudson Gardens: July 3rd & 4th, 6115 S Santa Fe Dr. Fireworks to follow the Super Diamond concert on July 3rd and after MelissaEtheridge on July 4th.

Limon: July 7, 9:45 pm, Fireworks at Gaskill Field on Saturday, July 6th at 9:45 pm. Relay for Life starting at 10:00 a.m. at Gaskill Field. Barbeque & Fireworks at Gaskill Field Activities start at 5:00 p.m.

Lone Tree: July 4, 4:00 pm-10:00 pm, Sweetwater Park 8300 1/2 Sweetwater Rd. Lone Tree, CO Residents from Lone Tree and Acres Green are invited to attend Lone Tree’s Annual Independence Day Celebration. Wristbands are required for entry. Enjoy live music and a huge variety of activities including, quad bungee trampolines, climbing walls, face painters, caricature artists, airbrush artists, inflatables, clowns, petting zoo and our popular Celebration Hat making activity. Fireworks at 9:30 pm after the concert.

Longmont: July 4, 9:30 pm, For the best view of the fireworks, park at a nearby shopping center and either walk to the fenced area in front of the Jack Murphy arena or watch from anywhere within a one-mile radius of Boulder County Fairgrounds located at Hover & Boston. Fireworks at 9:30 pm. KGUD 90.7 FM will sync their music on air to the fireworks display!

Louisville: July 4, 6:00-10:00 pm, Live music starting at 6:00 pm. Fireworks over the Coal Creek Golf Course at 9:30 pm.

Loveland: July 4, 8:00 pm, Celebrations at North Lake Park located at the corner of Taft Ave & 29th St. Bands and Live Music at Shelter #1 culminating with the fireworks show at 9:17 pm over Lake Loveland.

Manitou Springs: July 4, 9:00 pm, Woodshed Red is back! Manitou Springs Chamber presents Woodshed Red at The Bud Ford Pavilion at Soda Springs Park on July 4! Join for a new 4th of July tradition this year with a free concert by Manitou’s most beloved band. No fireworks are mentioned this year.

Meeker: July 4, 9:00pm Rodeos, parade, fireworks, concerts and more.

Montrose: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks can be seen at dusk from Sunset Mesa, Baldridge Park, Cerise Park, and McNeil Park.

Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor: July 4, 12 – 9:00 pm, Live music starts at 6:00 pm, fireworks at dark at Palmer Lake

Morrison: July 2, 6-10:00 pm, Bandimere Speedway 3051 S. Rooney Rd Morrison, CO.

Nederland: July 4, 9:00 pm, Join the Town of Nederland staff and residents in celebration. The parade will begin at the Salto and Tin Shed Sports’ grandstand. The parade starts at 11:30 am on Wednesday, July 4th.

Niwot: July 4, Lots of activities on July 4th but no Fireworks are planned. See Boulder.

Northglenn: July 4, 7:00 am-10:00 pm, EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park 11801 Community Center Dr. Northglenn, CO 80233. Petals & Paws Parade, 4-mile and ½ mile runs, military recognition, Bike, Trike and Wheelchair Parade and live music by various bands. Fireworks at 9:00 pm launched on Webster Lake.

Otis: July 4, 9:00pm, Festivities all day with fireworks at the Otis Fire Hall & Baseball Fields

Ouray: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks display at dark – favorite spot to watch is Fellin Park but you can’t really go wrong anywhere in town.

Pagosa Springs: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks are planned for 2019 after the Town Park Carnival and Red Ryder Roundup Rodeo.

Palmer Lake: July 4, 9:00pm  Lots of activities including a Fun Run that starts at 7am, live music from 11:30 on, and fireworks at dusk over Palmer Lake.

Parker: July 4, 6:00-10:00 pm, Salisbury Park, 11920 Motsenbocker Rd. Live music. Food vendors and children’s activities. The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m.

Perry Park: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks to be held at the Perry Park Country Club at approximately 9:00 pm. Live music starts at 6:00 pm, fireworks at dark at Palmer Lake

Peyton: July 4, 9:00pm Falcon Freedom Days Music, food, family fun activities staring at 8am with fireworks at Antler Creek Golf Course.

Pine: No mention of Fireworks. See Indian Hills

Pueblo: July 4, 3:00 pm-10:00 pm, The Pueblo Riverwalk main gate located at the intersection of Grand & Main. Live music starting at 3:00 pm culminating with the Pueblo Symphony and Fireworks at 9:00 pm off of the Public Garage roof.

Pueblo West: July 4, 9:00pm, Each Independence Day at 10am, the “wet parade” route along Joe Martinez Boulevard is transformed into a winding stream of blasting water cannons and squirt guns.  Fireworks parking is within and in front of 387 S. Angus. Otherwise, park along the streets.

Rangely: July 4, 9:00pm Fireworks at dusk over Kenney Reservoir.

Red Feather Lakes: July 6th, 9:30pm Lots of activities on Saturday July 6th starting at 8:30am with Fireworks at dusk over Hiawatha Lake.

Salida: July 4, – The park will open up at 12 noon with performances all day. Salida Circus performs at noon. Some entertainment spots during the day have not been confirmed yet. The Local cover band “The Veedles: will play 5-6:30 playing Beatles favorites. The headliner is “Vehicle” from Colorado Springs, playing 7-9:30 before the fireworks go off “S” Mtn at dusk (weather permitting.)

Silver Plume: No mention of fireworks, See Georgetown.

Silverthorne: No mention of fireworks.

Silverton: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks are back for 2019 set off near the Shrine of the Mines on Anvil Mountain.

Steamboat Springs July 4,7:00 pm -10:00 pm, Lots of activities all day long starting at 7:00 am with a variety of events. Fireworks and Laser Light Show, Howelsen Hill.

Snowmass: No mention of fireworks.

Superior: July 4, 7:00 am-12:00 pm, Community Park 1500 Coalton Rd. Superior, CO Superior Downhill Mile race, parade, pancake breakfast, live music. No Fireworks are planned. See Boulder.

Telluride: July 4, 9:00 pm, Lots of activities at Telluride Town Park starting at 11:00 am. Fireworks over Mountain Village at 9:00 pm.

Thornton: July 4, 4:00 pm-10:00 pm, 108th & Colorado Blvd at Carpenter Park Fields. Beer Garden & Food Vendors, Kory Brunson Band at 7:30 pm. Nighttime parachutists jump. Fireworks at 9:30 pm weather permitting.

Timnath: July 4, 9:00pm Enjoy an evening of fun starting at 6pm at Timnath Reservoir.

Trinidad: July 4, 9:00 pm, Typically there are fireworks over Trinidad Lake.

Vail: July 4, 9:30 pm, Fireworks will take place at Golden Peak at dusk (Approx. 9:30 pm). Fireworks will be synchronized to a powerful musical soundtrack.

Wellington: July 4, 9:00pm Lots of activities starting at 7am. Music by “Barely Getting By” at 1:30 pm near the Pavilion in Centennial Park. Fireworks at dusk at the Corner of 6th St & Wilson Ave.

Westcliffe: July 4, 9:00 pm, Fireworks over Lake Dewees at dusk.

Westminster: July 4, 4:00-9:30 pm, Westminster City Park 10455 Sheridan Blvd. Westminster, CO. Live music, food, and games start at 4:00 pm. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Wheat Ridge: Aug 9 & 11, 9:15 pm, No fireworks on July 4. Fireworks planned for the Carnation Festival on August 10th & 11th at Anderson Park.

Windsor: July 4, 7:00-10:00 pm, Fireworks show over Windsor Lake at 9:10 pm.

Winter Park: See Grand Lake

Woodland Park: July 4, 9:15 pm, Fireworks at the High School at dark (155 Panther Way).
