2014 Metro Denver & Colorado July 4th Fireworks Shows


Perry & Co. Real Estate Professionals has compiled this list of 2014 Metro Denver Front Range Colorado July 4th Fireworks Displays for your convenience. In fact, for 2014 we’ve included virtually every other town in the state.

Alamosa: July 4 9pm Fireworks at the Alamosa Fairgrounds at dusk.

Aurora: July 4 9:30pm Contact: 303-739-7756 Aurora Municipal Center 15151 E. Alameda Pkwy. Aurora , CO 80012 Fireworks display on Great lawn (west side of Aurora Municipal Center) with patriotic music simulcast provided by KEZW radio AM 1430. Food and beverage booths.

Arvada: July 4 3pm-10pm Contact: 720-898-7000 Stenger/Lutz Complex – W 58th Ave & Oak St. Arvada, CO. Various activities, events for children, food, live music, and more. 25 mins of Fireworks at 9pm. KOOL105 to simulcast a music medley choreographed for the fireworks display.

Aspen: July 4 9:15pm 8-10:30pm Beatles Tribute Band Doctor Robert. Fireworks over Aspen Mountain at 9:15pm.

Beaver Creek: July 4 5-10pm Live music starting at 6pm at the base of the ski area. Fireworks at 9:30.

Bennett: See Aurora.

Black Hawk: July 4 9pm Fireworks start at 9pm.

Boulder: July 4 8:00pm Folsom Field Gates open at 8:00 PM and the Fireworks start at dark. Come early and enjoy the Monarch High School Marching Band, the Boulder Parks and Open Space Singing Rangers, Mad Hops and Ralphie.

Breckenridge July 4 9:30pm Fireworks will be launched from the Gondola North Lot and will be visible from most locations around town.

Brighton: July 4 9pm Carmichael Park 500 S. 4th Ave. Brighton, CO. Concert & Fireworks around 9pm.

Broomfield: July 4 5:30pm Contact: 303-464-5509 Broomfield County Commons Park 13200 Sheridan Blvd. Broomfield, CO 80020 Various family activities, free concert by FACE & The 80’s Band. Fireworks around 9:15

Brush: July 4 9:30pm Fireworks at 9:30pm at the Morgan County Fairgrounds

Buena Vista: July 4 11am-10pm Lots of activities through the day. Fireworks at disk at the Rodeo Grounds.

Canon City: July 4 5:30pm Veteran’s Park (1st & Royal Gorge Blvd.) with the band Applewood performing a variety of classic rock and roll music. Eat lots of FREE watermelon and then keep an eye out for the great fireworks.

Castle Rock July 4 9pm Fireworks this year at sundown (about 9:00) at the Metzler Ranch Community Park 4175 Trail Boss Road.

Colorado Springs: July 4 5-10pm The evening will include food, drink, and fun for the whole family. Colorado Springs Philharmonic at 7:30 concluding with thunderous fireworks over Memorial Park.

Commerce City: July 4 7:30pm-10pm Contact: 303-727-3500 Dick’s Sporting Goods Park 6000 Victory Way Commerce City, CO 80022 Fireworks following the home Rapids vs Columbus Crew soccer game. Tickets start at $29.

Copper Mountain: July 5 9pm Fireworks and Fire Dancing over West Lake at 9pm on July 5th.

Creede: July 4 9pm Main street Creede. Fireworks at 9pm.

Crested Butte: July 4 6:30-10pm Yarn & Drew Emmitt at the Red Lady Stage at the Base Area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Fireworks at Dusk.

Cripple Creek: July 4 9:30pm Fireworks at 9:30 at City Park.

Dacono – Colorado National Speedway: July 4 & 5 6:30-10pm Racing and fireworks on both nights. Tickets $15.

Denver – Civic Center Park/Downtown: July 3 8pm-10pm Civic Center Park on Facebook Colfax & Broadway. Independence Eve details. Colorado Symphony concert and Fireworks on July 3rd. CBS Channel 4 will broadcast the event live and it will take place rain or shine.

Denver – Coors Field: July 3 & 4 6pm-10pm Contact: 303-292-0200 Coors Field Neighborhood Lodo 2001 Blake St Denver , CO 80205 Fireworks after the Rockies vs Los Angeles Dodgers games both nights.

Denver – Denver Country Club July 4 9:30pm Historically the DCC opens their east gate across from Bed, Bath & Beyond about 8:30 to allow friends to watch the fireworks show from the fairway. If not, the best place to watch is north of the Country Club along 1st Ave.

Denver – Elitch Gardens: July 4 9pm Fireworks around 9:00.

Denver – Invesco Field: July 4 7pm Contact: 720-258-3000 Invesco Field at Mile High 1701 Bryant St. Denver, CO 80204 Fireworks after Outlaws vs Boston Cannons lacrosse game – Tickets to game starting at $25.

Dillon: July 4 9pm Fireworks will be shot over the Frisco Bay Marina and be visible from the Dillon Amphitheatre.

Durango: July 4 9pm Fireworks at dusk over Vallecito Lake.

Eagle: July 4 9pm Fireworks at 9:00pm at Eagle County Fairgrounds.

Edgewater: July 4 9pm There will be live entertainment by B&C Entertainment, food and various vendors at Menard-May Park and George R. Kennedy Park beginning at 5:00 PM. Fireworks at 9pm at George R. Kennedy Park.

Englewood: July 4 3pm-10pm Contact: 303-762-2300 Belleview Park (near the corner of Windermere and Belleview) 5001 S. Inca Dr., CO 80110 Field games, activities, and live entertainment from 3 – 9 pm. The grand finale is Fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Erie: No fireworks planned See Dacono

Estes Park: July 4 9:30pm Bring your blanket or lawn chair and find a spot along Lake Estes. Fireworks at 9:30.

Fairplay: July 4 9pm Free concert at the Beach by Richie Law. Fireworks at 9pm.

Firestone: July 4 10am-10pm Miners Park, 226 Grant Ave. Live music through the day starting at 11am. Fireworks at 9:30pm at Saddleback Golf Club

Florence: July 4 The fun Wet n Dry Parade will delight children and adults alike. Shoot water guns at the parade floats and enjoy the music, vendors and free family activities. The festivities continue in Canon City with music, watermelon and fireworks in the park that evening.

Fort Carson: July 3 9:15pm Join us at Iron Horse Park July 3rd from 4-10 p.m. for fireworks, live entertainment and family fun at the annual 4th of July Celebration on the 3rd of July. Fireworks at 9:15pm.

Fort Collins: July 4 11am – 10pm Live music, a beer garden and good ole American fun in the Town Square. Live music starting at 4:15pm will be located on the South Side of the Hill at City Park at the corner of Sheldon and Mulberry. Fireworks shot over City Park Lake at 9:35pm.

Fort Lupton: July 4 9pm Fireworks at Rec Center Grounds

Fraser: See Grand Lake

Frisco: July 4 9:30pm Fireworks display over Dillon Reservoir beginning at 9:30pm.

Fruita: July 3 9pm Fireworks on July 3rd at dusk from Snooks Bottom.

Georgetown: July 4 9pm Fireworks in Downtown Georgetown at dusk.

Glendale: July 3 9:00pm The fireworks will be fired from Creekside Park on July 3rd, but are visible at various viewing locations throughout the City. The best viewing is at Cherry and Exposition.

Glendale – Four Mile Historic Park: July 4 10am-4pm Four Mile Historic Park 715 S. Forest St. Denver, CO 80246 Various activities, games, music, etc. but NO FIREWORKS show.

Glenwood Springs: & No mention of a 2014 Fireworks display.

Golden July 4 12:30pm-10pm Lions Park 1300 10th St & Maple St. Golden, CO 80401 Children’s activities, free rides, face painting, food, live music all day. Fireworks at 9:30pm More info on

Grand Junction: July 4 9:45pm Tickets are available at the Parks & Recreation Office 1340 Gunnison Avenue (970) 254-3866.

Grand Lake, Granby, Fraser, Winter Park: July 4 10pm Fireworks over Grand Lake at 10pm.

Greeley: July 4 10pm Parade at 9am. Live music starting at 11am. Fireworks following the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra starting at 8pm at Stampede Park.

Greenwood Village: No Fireworks planned

Green Valley Ranch: No Fireworks planned

Gunnison: July 3 9pm Concert and Fireworks on July 3rd at Gunnison City Park.

Highlands Ranch: July 4 11am-10pm Directly across from Town Center, at the intersection of Highlands Ranch Parkway & Blake Dr. Highlands Ranch Town Center, and Civic Green Park are great locations to watch the show. Balloon Twisters, Face Painters, Vern’s Mini Train, Hayrack Rides, Games & Inflatables, parades, 5k and 3 live bands. Fireworks at 9:30pm.

Idaho Springs: July 4 9pm Fireworks over the Charlie Taylor Waterwheel.

Indian Hills July 4 7am-10pm Events begin with a pancake breakfast, followed by an Air Life helicopter fly-in and display, a traditional parade, food vendors including a beer garden, and live musical entertainment beginning in the late afternoon and culminating with Fireworks at 9:20pm.

Keystone: July 4 9pm Fireworks show begins at 9pm and is visible from Lakeside Village.

Kremmling: See Grand Lake

Lafayette: July 4 4-10pm  Face Painting, Balloon Sculpting, Bounce House and Pony rides for the kids. Concert by Deja Blue Band at 4:30pm. Fireworks at Dusk at Waneka Lake Park.

La Junta: July 4 8:30-9:30pm Fireworks at the La Junta Rodeo Grounds.

Lakewood: No information found, see Golden.

Larkspur: July 4 9pm Fireworks to be held at the Perry Park Country Club at approximately 9:00pm.

Leadville: July 4 9pm The best place to view fireworks is at the Lake County High School football field on West 4th Street. Fireworks at disk.

Littleton – Belleview Park: July 4 3pm-10pm Contact: 303-762-2300 Belleview Park (near the corner of Windermere and Belleview) 5001 S. Inca Dr., CO 80110 Field games, activities, and live entertainment from 3 – 9 pm.The grand finale is Fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Littleton – Hudson Gardens: July 3rd & 4th 6115 S Santa Fe Dr. Fireworks to follow the Super Diamond concert on July 3rd and Firefall on July 4th. Tickets $25.

Limon: July 5 9pm Fireworks at Gaskill Field on July 5th.

Lone Tree: July 4 4pm-10pm Sweetwater Park 8300 1/2 Sweetwater Rd. Lone Tree, CO Residents from Lone Tree and Acres Green are invited to attend Lone Tree’s 16th Annual Independence Day Celebration. Wristbands are required for entry . Enjoy live music and a huge variety of activities including, quad bungee trampolines, climbing walls, face painters, caricature artists, airbrush artists, inflatables, clowns, petting zoo and our popular Celebration Hat making activity. Fireworks at 9:15pm.

Longmont: July 4 9:30pm Boulder County Fairgrounds located at Hover & Boston. Fireworks at 9:30pm.

Louisville: CANCELLED The destruction of the Coal Creek Golf Course in the September floods has made the location unavailable for fireworks. We will be back in 2015!

Loveland: July 4 8pm Contact: (970) 962-2727 Celebrations at North Lake Park located at the corner of Taft Ave & 29th St. An 80+ member band will play patriotic favorites culminating with the fireworks show at 9:17pm over Lake Loveland. This year’s show should be approximately 30 minutes in length, and will culminate with a finale of close to 500 shots.

Manitou Springs: July 4 9:30pm Typically fireworks start at dusk (about 9:30 pm) and can be viewed from anywhere in the downtown area.

Montrose: July 4 8pm Fireworks can be seen at dusk from Sunset Mesa, Baldridge Park, Cerise Park and McNeil Park.

Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor: July 4 7am – 9pm Lots of activities all day long but no fireworks mentioned this year.

Morrison: July 4 3pm-10pm Bandimere Speedway 3051 S. Rooney Rd Morrison, CO Fireworks * Jet Cars * Drag Racing * Troop Salute * Games * Rides * Music * Contests * Magicians *Food * Show * Car Toys Aftershock Stage with live entertainment * More! Fireworks at 9:45pm. Tickets $22.

Northglenn: July 4 6:30am-10:30pm Contact: 303-450-8800 EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park 11801 Community Center Dr. Northglenn, CO 80233 Patriotic Pooch Parade, 4-mile and ½ mile runs, military recognition, Bike, Trike and Wheelchair Parade and live music. Fireworks at 9:30pm.

Ouray: July 4 9pm Fireworks and laser display at dusk.

Pagosa Springs: July 4 9pm  Fireworks are set off from downtown Pagosa Springs just after sunset on the 4th of July.

Parker: July 4 6-10pm Contact: 303-841-0353 Salisbury Park, 9200 Motsenbocker Rd in Parker. Live music. Food vendors and children’s activities. The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m.

Pueblo: July 4 3pm-10pm The Pueblo Riverwalk main gate located at the intersection of Grand & Main. Live music starting at 3pm culminating with the Pueblo Symphony and Fireworks at 9pm.

Silverton: July 4 9pm website Fireworks at dusk set-off from the Shrine.

Steamboat Springs July 4 7-9:30pm Lots of activities all day long starting at 7am and culminating with Firework Show at Howelsen Hill at 9:00pm.

Superior: July 4 7am-12pm Contact: 303-544-0359 Community Park 1500 Coalton Rd. Superior, CO Superior Downhill Mile race, parade, pancake breakfast, live music. No mention of Fireworks.

Telluride: July 4 9pm Fireworks over Mountain Village.

Thornton: July 4 5pm-10pm 108th & Colorado Blvd at Thorton Multipurpose Fields. Beer Garden & Food Vendors, Kory Brunson Band at 7:30pm. Fireworks at 9:30pm.

Trinidad: July 4 9pm Typically there are fireworks over Trinidad Lake.

Vail: July 4 9:30pm Fireworks will take place at Golden Peak at dusk (Approx. 9:30pm). Fireworks will be synchronized to a to a powerful musical soundtrack.

Westcliffe: July 4 9pm Fireworks over Lake Dewees at dusk.

Wheat Ridge: Aug 15 & 16 No fireworks on July 4. Fireworks planned for the Carnation Festival running August 15-17. at Anderson Park.

Windsor: July 4 7-10pm. Fireworks show over Windsor Lake will follow the 7pm The Jurassicasters concert at dark.

Winter Park: see Grand Lake

Woodland Park: July 4 8am – 3pm Fireworks from Memorial Park can been seen from anywhere within the City starting at approximately 9:30.
