Brad brings experience to every real estate transaction. He began his real estate career in 1968 with Moore & Company Commercial Division in Denver, Colorado. He opened Brad Benson Realty Company in 1972 and for fifteen years specialized in serving investment real estate clients. In 1982, he obtained the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Management (CCIM) designation.

In 1987, Brad switched real estate paths. He was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the Denver Board of REALTORS. Beginning in 1994 Brad also managed the Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of REALTORS which became one of the most recognized and progressive commercial overlay boards in the country. In 1997, Brad was instrumental in launching its successful commercial information exchange. Throughout his tenure, at the local, State and National levels, Brad helped formulate policy relating to commercial real estate services for members of the National Association of REALTOR.

Brad has distinguished himself in the real estate industry and community. He was the President of the Denver Board of REALTORS and a two-time recipient of the Denver Board’s REALTOR of the Year Award. Brad has been a director and active fund-raiser for a number of non-profit organizations.

Brad established Brad Benson Consulting, Inc. in 2001 specializing in management and real estate services. He conferred with the National Association of REALTORS in its development of the 2002 CIE Guide as well as the Commercial Overlay Board and Commercial Structures Guide.

From February 2003 to December 2006, Brad consulted for Catylist Real Estate Software, Inc. Utilizing his background related to CIEs, management and brokerage, his responsibilities focus on ways to drive the adoption of the CCIMNet commercial information exchange in selected markets across the country.

 In March 2003, Brad joined Perry & Co. to operate its Commercial Real Estate Division. Brad will continue his commercial sales and leasing brokerage practice, in addition to his consulting role, with a concentration on tenant representation, sales of investment and user properties.  

Brad takes advantage of Colorado. He has conquered all the 14 Footers returning to many on selected trips with family and friends. And, playing cribbage, traveling, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing are a few activities that can distract him from the real estate profession.
