"Hyla Feder helped me find the right house in Denver last summer (2014). It was an interesting and complex process. I live abroad, nine time zones to be exact. I sought a house as both an investment and a future home after my repatriation. We began working before my vacation in Denver. Hyla carefully and fully explored my needs and desires. She educated me about neighborhoods, values and the local market. She explained the trade offs before me. By the time I arrived, I had a clear idea of what to expect. Once in Denver, Hyla drove me around the city illustrating, reinforcing and adding to her previous explanations. After viewing four houses, we found “the house” and quite a house it is. Hyla shepherded me through the astoundingly complex process of negotiations, contracts, etc. A few unexpected difficulties occurred dealing with the seller and Hyla’s guidance proved invaluable in negotiating those added complications. As I mentioned, I live abroad and will continue to do so for the next four to five years. I planned on renting the house in the interim. I created a website and scouted out Craig’s List preparing for a long period seeking tenants. Given the house only became available in the beginning of October (off season for finding renters) and Hyla’s contract as a realtor had been fulfilled in full,  Hyla shocked me by calling with prospective renters before I publicized the house. They moved in shortly thereafter and I could not be happier.
